For the Home football game tonight we wanted to provide students with some guidelines for admittance. If you have your ID and have purchased an activities pass you will bring your ID to the SW entrance. Show your ID which has been marked for those that have purchased the activities pass at that door. Sophomore students or new students who do not have an ID yet, but did sign-up for an activities pass, can stop in the office at the main reception desk and get a student ticket for the admittance to the game. This is for students that have purchased an activities pass, but do not have an ID yet. If you did not purchase and activities pass for this year, admission will be $5 at the door and we ask that you have exact change for our ticket takers. Reminder that masks will be required and students will sit in every 3rd row. In addition, 2 seats should be left open between each student. Given these guidelines, we will expand our student section 1 addition section to the north for spacing. These guidelines are a requirement by UNI for us to have a student section. I’m confident that your great cooperation, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship will be on display.
Student Senate and the CAPS program are organizing a volunteer opportunity to support those in need due to the storm damage caused by the derecho that swept across the state. If you are interested in helping out we will be meeting this Saturday at 7:30am in the north parking lot of the high school and traveling to Cedar Rapids to support the storm recovery efforts. Bring food, water and your face mask for a days worth of work. If you have questions connect with Erin Gardner or Ethan Wiechmann.
The deadline for students to make schedule adjustments is TODAY! Students need to see their counselor for paperwork to be filled out and have the teachers and parent/guardian also sign.
Reminder to Art students from 2020 spring semester: Please pick up your artwork from Rm 34 by the end of today! This includes artwork that was part of the Hearst Center Art Show. If it's not picked up, it will be recycled.
September bus passes and stickers are now available from Mrs. Steffy in the main office.
