Battle of the Books - Second Place in Iowa

Holmes Battle of the Books team, The Bright Lights, placed second overall today at the IHSBOB-Iowa High School Battle of the Books. This competition is put on every year by the Iowa Council of Teachers of English. Holmes Students Selected for Honor Choir

Eight Holmes students were selected to participate in Northeast Iowa Honor Choir. They will participate in a day of workshops and preparation with a guest conductor and then perform in a concert in the evening.
