Spring Break is March 16-20, 2026. When school resumes on Monday March 23 it will be a "B" day. School will start at 9:30 a.m. and follow the normal Monday/Late Start schedule. 

Cedar Falls had a fantastic day at the MathCounts competition and NINE students from Holmes, Peet, and Hansen qualified for state. Holmes/Hansen placed four students (Pradeep, Wanner, Sebree, & Schmidt) in the top ten, and five (Pradeep, Wanner, Sebree, Schmidt, and Juza) are headed to the state competition. Peet Parents and Guardians,Parent-teacher conferences continue to be a valuable experience to support students in their education. As a result, we will continue to offer this experience and it will look very similar to last year. Spring conferences are just around the corner. Mark your calendars for your Holmes Junior High conferences: Tuesday March 10 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday March 12 from 12:30-7:00 p.m. Holmes will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. on March 12 and there is no school on Friday March 13. Spring Break is the following week from March 16-20.
