Holmes Hoopla Dress-Up Days will be a fun and interesting week as students wear thier creativity.Mix it up Monday and dress like a teacher (or student if you are one). Mark your calendars: December has two important music dates. 7th Grade Band Solo Fest is on Monday December 8 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Students who are participating will have the details specific to them so don't forget to check in about band. The Winter Vocal Concert is on Monday December 15 at 7:00 p.m. Students have been working hard to prepare for these music events and are ready to share their talent. 

December 2025 Tiger Cup competition is raising funds for the Cedar Bend Human Society. The Human Society cares for dogs, cats, and other pets in our community while they work to place them in loving lifelong homes. They also provide education on humane care, responsible ownership, and training.Every day during lunch students can add money to the bucket of the teacher they most want to see get a pie in the face. During Tiger Time Blitz Week Holmes students took time to acknowledge things for which they are grateful. Hannah Becker's and AnnMarie Miller's classes created a turkey on the pillar outside the main office and students decorated feathers and wrote things they are grateful for on them. Students were also given a moment to take a selfie and share it to earn points for the Tiger Cup. Family, friends, and food topped the list. School staff, homes, warm blankets, and sunshine were also mentioned. 

Students will be dismissed for Winter Break on December 19. There will be no school December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026.
