What is IMPACT? IMPACT stands for Involved, Motivated, Parents, and Caring Teachers – and that’s exactly who we are! We work together to support students, teachers, and our entire school community.

How Do We Make An IMPACT?
Teachers receive a stipend each year to enrich their classrooms and we help fund special projects, programs and experiences throughout the year.

We love sponsoring the yearbook, safety patrol, and family events. We also provide our teachers much deserved snacks and meals during conferences and for various holidays. Telling teachers “Thank You” and appreciating them throughout the year is an easy and fun job to do.

How We Raise Funds:
Each year brings new fundraising ideas. Recently, we brought back the Southdale Carnival – our largest fundraiser of the year and it was a huge success! Two years ago we introduced something brand new: the Color Run, which added an extra splash of fun and excitement for our students and families. We’re excited to continue building on both events and making them even better in the years to come.

Other fundraisers include Read-a-Thons, Spirit Wear Sales, and partnering with local businesses – selling items like pizza, car washes, popcorn, or dining in. Our goal moving forward is to continue finding ways to raise funds that are effective and engaging for our Southdale Families. We are always looking for fresh ideas so don’t be shy about sharing yours!

Throughout the year we will communicate via emails, Friday Announcements, and our Facebook page. We will have many opportunities for you to get involved by contributing your time, donations, or supplies, so please keep an eye out for those communications!

We typically meet the 1st Monday of the month from 5:00-6:00pm. This year, we will hold the meetings at Southdale Elementary in the media room – Enter through Door 23.
