IF YOUR CHILD IS SICK
If your child is sick, you must contact the office to report their absence. The office will then contact the classroom teacher. (If your child has a temperature, they cannot return to school unless they have been fever free without Tylenol or Ibuprophen for 24 hours.)

DOCTOR APPOINTMENT/ARRIVING LATE TO SCHOOL
If your child is not going to arrive at the start of the school day, please contact the office to report that they will be late. We need this information for attendance purposes as well as for daily lunch count. If you need to leave a message, please include your child’s name, grade, classroom teacher, and whether or not we need to order a hot lunch for your child. If you do not order a hot lunch, please be sure to send your child to school with a cold lunch.

ARRIVING TO SCHOOL LATE
If your child arrives to school late, they need to check in at the office. They will be issued a pass to return to their classroom. Your child needs to get signed in for the day, failing to do so will result in your child being marked absent for the entire day.

EATING LUNCH WITH YOUR CHILD
Parents are always welcome to eat lunch with their child(ren).  We do ask that you contact the office no later than 9:15 a.m. if you plan to eat a hot lunch so we can get it ordered.

LEAVING EARLY
If your child needs to leave early from school, a parent/guardian will need to stop in the office to sign them out for the day. We will then call the teacher and have the child come to the office. Your child will only be called to the office AFTER THE PARENT/GUARDIAN HAS ARRIVED.

CHANGE IN AFTER SCHOOL PLANS
We strongly encourage consistency with your child’s after school plan. However, we understand that occasionally a change may need to be made. Please contact the school no later than 30 minutes before the end of the school day to inform us of these changes. If calls are made at the end of the day, we cannot guarantee your child will receive it in time.

VOLUNTEERING/VISITING THE CLASSROOM
ALL VISITORS TO THE BUILDING MUST SIGN IN AT THE OFFICE AND WEAR A VISITOR PASS.
