Registration Reminder for 2018-2019

Hello Lincoln Families! We hope you are enjoying summer!

I have pasted registration information below. Our district sent this same information on Tuesday, July 3rd. This is a friendly reminder to take a few moments to register your students for the school year. If you need help, support information is provided below and you may come to Lincoln for assistance on Tuesday, July 31st from 8:15 AM -12:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 4:15 PM. We are also available to help on Wednesday, August 1st from 8:15 AM -1:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

Cedar Falls CSD online registration for returning students in grades 1 through 12 will be open to register your child/ren on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  Online registration will close on Friday, August 3, 2018. You will not need to register any PK, Kindergarten, or new students to the District who may have already pre-registered with us. To register your returning student, log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Once you have logged in to the portal, the link for Online Registration will be at the bottom left side of your screen.

You will see this icon on the PowerSchool Parent Portal and will click on it to begin each child's registration:

If you have forgotten your username or password, or have not yet set up a parent account, please email and give a detailed description of what type of assistance you need. You may also call our PowerSchool Support line at 319-553-3004.  

Through trial and error, we have found that certain special characters in some Portal passwords have caused problems with online registration, even though they work fine with the Portal itself.  If your Parent portal password contains special characters and you are experiencing difficulties with the online registration system, contact us as suggested above for a password reset and try it again. We have also found that FireFox and Google Chrome are the preferred browsers when accessing online registration.

If you have more than one child, you will need to complete the registration for all children in your household (with the exception of PK, Kindergarten, or new students to the district). We suggest that you submit one and then start another; each registration requires you to log in again.

After you have finished the registration process and submitted your information, there will be a link on the last page to the “Tiger Web Store”, which is the payment portal for school fees, fines and meal account payments. Please wait until you have registered your child/ren before paying fees, fines, and meal account payments. (Additional directions for making an online payment)
