Any 7th or 8th grade students interested in cheering for Holmes this summer and the fall school year, should sign up using the link posted in your class schoology group

Today is the National Day of Silence. Since 1996, on this day, LGBTQ+ students and their allies around the country have chosen to take a vow of silence to represent the way that LGBTQ+ students may be silenced in their schools and communities. Some of the students at Holmes may be choosing to participate in this observance. The Holmes GSA is asking that the Holmes community respects this decision. Students who are participating in this observance will probably communicate this with a note, explaining why they are choosing not to speak on this day.

The Holmes GSA would like to invite all of the Holmes community to join us after school on Friday for a few moments to "Break the Silence". We will meet right after school at Holmes Park across from the main entrance to make some joyful noise.
