Student Life Holmes Junior HighOn Friday, September 1st we will be dismissed at 11:15am. If you would like to take a sack lunch home with you that day, please sign up using the link that was posted in schoology this morning. All orders need to be placed by the end of the day today.
If you or your parents have purchased an activity ticket on bound and have not received your QR code, please stop by the front office. Do not wait until Friday afternoon.
Girls Who Code will be held Fridays during Tiger Time. Please fill out the form posted on Schoology if you are interested in joining. You must sign up in advance to be requested.
We are excited to announce that Holmes is going to have a Makerspace. If you would like to get an idea of what the Makerspace will be like, sign up on Schoology for our LED card making workshop in Mrs. Adam’s room, next Wednesday, September 6. You will be able to make a card for a friend, loved one or a favorite teacher. Space and materials are limited, so sign up soon! Once the session is full, we will close the sign up form.
Applications to join the Holmes Volunteer Club are now open. Throughout the year, we will engage in many fun volunteering events, such as supervising the Hansen Carnival, and "Backpacking the Dome," an annual event held at the UNI dome that helps package supplies for those in need. Scan the QR codes located around the school to register.
