Girls: if you are interested in Computer Science/Coding, Mrs. Adam will be hosting a Girls Who Code Club during Tiger Time. We will meet Fridays during Tiger Time in Mrs. Adam's room, ROOM 17. Sign up outside of Room 17 if you are interested.

The Holmes Huddle Fellowship of Christian Athletes will kick off this Friday morning September 6th from 7-7:30am in the Old Gym. See Mrs. Greiner or Coach Peters for more information.

STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS

Student Council Elections for Officers will be September 12th. We elect 5 people for the positions of President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer and Director of Public Relations. Candidates should demonstrate good character, maintain good academic standing, and remain committed to the responsibilities of Student Council.

The offices of President and Vice-President can only be held by 9th graders.Candidates for President must have served a minimum of one year on Student Council. An exception to that rule would be if the candidate was new to Holmes this year. The other three offices of Recording Secretary, Treasurer and Director of Public Relations could be held by a 7th, 8th or 9th grader.

Students interested in a Student Council Officer or Representative position may visit the Student Council webpage (Counseling tab) to submit an application. Applications must be completed by Tuesday, September 10th. The webpage provides additional information on officer responsibilities and campaign rules and expectations.  

Fall bike club will start tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 5. All individuals who ride their bike to school should check in with Mrs. Greiner at the bike rack tomorrow morning! If you have questions, please see Mrs. Greiner!
