Today's Environmental tip in honor of Earth Week focuses on the letter “T” for transportation. One way you can take action on climate change is by driving less, carpooling and turning off your car engine when you are parked before school. When you drive less and idle less, not only are you saving gas and producing less air pollution, but you also save money.
Elevate your school spirit with school merchandise from Entrepreneurship Class! We are thrilled to introduce a black quarter zip as well as a white quarter Zip for only $27.00! We are also selling a Cedar Falls car sticker! If you would like more information, go to the nearest designated posting area and find our poster with a class list of students selling the merchandise and ask a student for an order form!

SAGA's last meeting for the year is tomorrow, Friday, April 26!
A reminder to bring your lunch, and come learn about the sustainable building design features at the new high school TODAY during the first shift of Power Hour in the auditorium. Brian Sanderman of Invision Architecture will lead the discussion. Stay for the 2nd shift of Power Hour as the Environmental Awareness team will host an Environmental trivia game. Bring your chromebook to participate, the game will start at 12:00 PM. Prizes will be awarded to the top scorers!
Do you have uncrushed cans or bottles in your garage? Please bring them to the 525 Robotics Spring Can and Bottle Drive! Drop them off at the high school North parking lot THIS SATURDAY, April 27, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Thank you for your support!
A reminder that Foods students are selling cinnamon rolls and breakfast burritos in the Tiger's Den through 4th period today! The cost is $1.00 each.
A reminder that there will be a softball meeting TONIGHT at 6:30 pm in the high school auditorium. This meeting is required for all athletes and at least one parent or guardian. If athletes have another commitment, one parent should still plan to attend.

Follow the Tigers: Varsity Girls' and Boys' Track and Field will be participating in the Drake Relays in Des Moines; Varsity Girls' Golf meet will begin at 3:15 pm at Brown Deer in Coralville; Varsity Girls' Soccer will begin at 4:15 pm at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids; JV Boys' Soccer will begin at 5:00 pm, followed by the Varsity at 6:45 pm at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex; JV Girls' and Boys' Track and Field Co-ed meet will begin at 5:00 pm at Waverly Shell Rock High School.
REMINDERS:
4 school days is what's left to serve detentions and pay PowerSchool fines and fees if you wish to attend prom and participate in commencement. May 1 is the deadline!
