Cedar Heights Elementary
Hello!! I am currently in my 21st year of eduation. This year I am a Student Success Coach working at Cedar Heights. I started my teaching career in Cedar Falls in the fall of 2005 at Hansen Elementary. I taught 2nd grade at Hansen for 11 years before starting as a coach as part of the TLC system in Iowa in the fall of 2016. In my first two years as an instructional coach, I worked at Cedar Heights, Southdale, and Orchard Hill. When Bess Streeter Aldrich opened in the fall of 2018, there was a need to shift between the two elementary coaches- so my new buildings were Cedar Heights, Hansen, and Lincoln. In the fall of 2020, due to Covid, I became a full time virtual 2nd grade teacher for the Cedar Falls Virtual Academy. In the fall of 2021, I have returned to technology coaching, this time at Cedar Heights, Orchard Hill, North Cedar, and Aldrich. In the fall of 2025, the need shifted from technology to student success and my position shifted to that role of Student Success Coach.
