Special Interests

The CF Ambush will compete in the HSEL Fall and Spring Seasons for the 2022-2023 School Year. Players will have the opportunity to compete in a Fall, Winter, and Spring season throughout the school year. If you are interested in playing in the Spring Season, please complete this form

The Spring Pre-Season begins on January 23rd and runs through March 30th with the playoffs happening during a 2 weeks span in April. The following schedule will be used for the Spring Season. The schedule of which day players will compete will depend on which game they are competing in. Each game has a designated day of the week for competing. 

We are encouraging players/teams to compete in person at the CF Ambush Arena located in the back of the iTech building at 6027 University Ave, Cedar Falls, IA 50613, but players can also compete from home. If you choose to compete from home, you will need to have the needed equipment and game licenses.

The following is information regarding the games that will be offered during the Spring Season.

  • Halo Infinite: License Provided if Needed (PC Only), XBox (One, X, S). Team of 4 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Tuesday.
  •  Minecraft Battle Royale: License Provided if Needed. PC Java Version. Survival Mode. Matches at 4pm on Tuesday.
  • Valorant: Free license, PC Platform, Team of 5 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Wednesdays.
  • Brawlhalla: Free license. PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox (One, X, S) Nintendo Switch. 1v1. Matches at 4pm on Wednesdays.
  • Rainbow 6 Siege: License Provided if Needed (PC Only). Team of 5 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Thursdays.
  • Rocket League: License Provided if Needed (PC Only), All Platforms, Crossplay compatibility between platforms, Team of 3 Needed. Matches at 4pm on Thursday.
