3.26-3.30 - Iowa Assessments for grades 3-6

3.29 - 4th Grade to the Waterloo Symphony at 1:00 PM

3.30 - No school for 7-12, K-6 will be in school!

4.2 - All City Orchestra at Cedar Falls High School at 7:30 PM

4.9 - All City Vocal at 7 PM at Cedar Falls High School

4.10 - PALS meeting in the Media Center at 7:00 PM

4.10 - Holmes Orientation for 6th Grade parents at 7 PM in the Holmes Gym

4.13 - Farm To School, all grades (We will serve Country View Yogurt)

4.16 - All City Band at 6:00 PM at Cedar Falls High School

4.20 - Farm To School, all grades (We will serve mini cucumbers and cherry tomatoes)

4.23-5.18 - Spring FAST window

4.24 - 5th Grade to Public Library for Cedar Valley Youth Reads from 1:30-2:30 PM

4.30 - In School Band Concert at 9:00 AM

Iowa Assessments are the week of March 26th-March 30th: Please help all of our 3rd-6th grade students test their best by ensuring that students are at school and on time every day that week, rested and ready to go! We want our students to be able to show what they have learned this year!

Pack 179 invites all to participate in the Pinewood Derby! This opportunity is open to all students (boys and girls) in grades Kinder through 5th. If you would like to participate, please note these steps:

• Get the official kit and rules from Cubmaster Ken at 217-621-8108

• Weigh in dates: Friday, March 23rd 5:00 to 7:00 and Saturday, March 24th 11:00 to noon in the Lincoln cafeteria

• Derby Race date: Saturday, March 24th noon until (usually a couple of hours) in the Lincoln cafeteria

6th Grade Students and Families - please mark your calendars for the 6th Grade party for Friday, May 4th from 6:00-9:00 PM at the UNI Wellness Center. We will have volunteer opportunities available for parents as well as information about T-shirts soon!
