Thank You For The Blanket Donations!

We are thankful for the support of our students, families and local community!  Starting with 288 yards of solid colored fleece, students and families who are members of the  The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints created 70 blankets and cards to go along with the blankets. These blankets were donated to both Lincoln and Southdale Elementary Schools to provide to students. Congratulations OPUS Students!

We are proud of our OPUS participants! They enjoyed the day in Ames performing with many of the best voices in our state at Iowa State University. We would also like to congratulate every student who tried out as we know you learned and improved through the process. Last, thanks to Mrs. Droe for her continued support of our vocalists! Thank You Cedar Falls Schools Foundation!

We are thankful for the support provided by the Cedar Falls Schools Foundation! We had two groups submit Teacher Excellence Grants that were funded to support our students! The first grant was written by Mrs. Klein and Mrs. Linck, who won the Carol Brenden Award to support Shared Reading instruction through big and little books. In addition, Mrs. Droe was awarded a grant to support tinikiling in Music. Congrats to both groups!

We have a tradition of helping students broadcast events at our building. Mrs. Droe started this tradition and it has slowly evolved.
