Student Led Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 12th and Thursday, March 15th. We are looking forward to speaking with both you and your students! Our Conference Scheduler will be open on Monday, February 25th and will close on Sunday, March 10th. Please use these directions to schedule a time and let us know if you need help!

Incoming Kinders for 2019-2020! Please help us begin to think ahead to the 2019-2020 school year by watching for this note to come home in our youngest or only student backpacks. These can be returned to the Lincoln office please. We will host a parent meeting for those with Kinder students starting in the fall of 2019 on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30 in the Lincoln Cafeteria.

Please consider nominating a teacher to be recognized!

Cedar Falls Lion Club Outstanding Educator Of The Year Nominations - The Cedar Falls Lions Club is seeking nominations for an exceptional educator who goes above and beyond to create opportunities that foster student growth, embodies civic action and engages others in service, and inspires and promotes a spirit of life-long learning. A candidate for this award must be a full-time practicing pre-K-12 teacher or administrator in the Cedar Falls Community School District, Valley Lutheran School, or St. Patrick Catholic School. If you are an administrator, staff member, student, parent, or community member who knows such an educator, you are invited to submit a nomination. Educators may not nominate themselves.  The recipient of this award will receive $500.00 and a plaque recognizing him/her as the Cedar Falls Lions Club Outstanding Educator of the Year. The deadline for submitting nominations is March 1, 2019. Please nominate a teacher here!

Gold Star Teachers - Would you like to nominate a teacher for the R.J. McElroy Trust and KWWL Gold Star Award? You may fill out a nomination form and drop off in our office or complete the online form by Wednesday, February 20th - Click here.

Girl Scout Opportunities For Spring - Please consider this opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts! The program will take place at Lincoln on the dates listed in the fliers below. Here is the registration form required for both programs. Registration forms can be returned to the Lincoln Office.

Winter Clothing: Our goal is to have our students outside as much as possible. If the temperature is above zero (actual or with wind chill), we will be enjoying the winter weather! Please make sure children are dressed appropriately for the weather. When there is snow on the ground, students will need snow pants and boots. If you need assistance with winter gear, please contact the office at 553.2950 and we are happy to help!

Student Attendance Matters! Student attendance plays a huge role in school performance. We also know that we are entering flu season. Please read this note from our nurse.

Are you looking for opportunities for your students? Please make use of the Fliers section of our district website!

We are pleased to announce that we have an Online Directory! This is an optional opportunity for families to share contact information with other families. Our plan is to make this available digitally. If you have a need for a printed copy, please let us know.
