3.9 - No School for K-6

3.12-3.16 - Spring Break

3.20 - Kinder Roundup at 6:30 PM in the Cafeteria

3.21 - PALS Meeting to plan for 2017-2018 at 6:30 in our Media Center

3.22 - Kinder Roundup (makeup date) at 6:30 PM

3.23 - 1st Grade to How I Became A Pirate at GBPAC at 10:00 AM, 2nd Grade at 12:30 PM

3.24 - 6th Grade Band Solo Festival 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Cedar Falls High School

3.26-3.30 - Iowa Assessments for grades 3-6

3.29 - 4th Grade to the Waterloo Symphony at 1:00 PM

3.30 - No school for 7-12, K-6 will be in school!

Kindergarten Parent Meeting: Our Kindergarten informational meeting (for those that will have Kindergartners for the 2018-2019 school year) will be held on Tuesday, March 20th at 6:30 PM in our Cafeteria.

Iowa Assessments are the week of March 26th-March 30th: Please help all of our 3rd-6th grade students test their best by ensuring that students are at school every day that week. Please look for more information soon!

Would you be willing to take a survey to help give information to Lincoln on our Leader In Me work? Thank you for completing this to help us!

Morning Drop Off and Afternoon Pickup - We appreciate your help in keeping our students safe before and after school. We have two requests: Please have students exit cars in the morning onto the sidewalk. If they are in the outer lane and get out to the sidewalk, they can walk to our crosswalk to get to the building. Second, please do not allow our students to climb on the mountains of snow created by our plows. Thank you!

Pack 179 invites all to participate in the Pinewood Derby! This opportunity is open to all students (boys and girls) in grades Kinder through 5th. If you would like to participate, please note these steps:

• Get the official kit and rules from Cubmaster Ken at 217-621-8108

• Weigh in dates: Friday, March 23rd 5:00 to 7:00 and Saturday, March 24th 11:00 to noon in the Lincoln cafeteria

• Derby Race date: Saturday, March 24th noon until (usually a couple of hours) in the Lincoln cafeteria

2018-2019 Kindergarten Students: We need your help getting a list of all our 2018-2019 incoming kindergarten students. If you have a student who will be a kindergartner next year (2018-2019), please fill out this Google Form. Please feel free to share this post with family and friends who will have an incoming kindergarten student at Lincoln next school year. If you know of a student who will be a kindergartner at our new elementary, Aldrich, please have them call the business office at 319.553.2423. Thanks for being proactive and helping us getting a kindergarten list created!
