PALS is planning our first Holiday Bazaar for Saturday Dec. 9! PALS is excited for a new fundraiser that is also a service to our families. This will allow families to shop local with those they know for the holidays! We will show The Polar Express in our Cafeteria (starting at 10 AM) providing the chance for families to shop at the Bazaar. Here is a flyer advertising this event!

Mitten Tree: Our Mitten Tree is up! We have placed mittens on our tree in the office. Each mitten is a gift for a Lincoln student. This is a great opportunity to help a student and family celebrate Christmas! Thank you for considering!

Winter Clothing: The weather really changed this past week! We will be outside as much as possible. If the temperature is above zero (actual or with wind chill), we will be enjoying the winter weather! Please make sure children are dressed appropriately for the weather. Once there is snow on the ground students will need snowpants and boots. If you need assistance with winter gear, please contact the office at 553.2950 and we are happy to help!

2018-2019 Kindergarten Students: We need your help getting a list of all our 2018-2019 incoming kindergarten students. If you have a student who will be a kindergartner next year (2018-2019), please fill out this Google Form. Please feel free to share this post with family and friends who will have an incoming kindergarten student at Lincoln next school year. If you know of a student who will be a kindergartner at our new elementary, Aldrich, please have them call the business office at 319.553.2423. Thanks for being proactive and helping us getting a kindergarten list created!

Jingle Jam: The Cedar Falls Dance Team is offering this opportunity for families on Saturday December 9th.

Please order a Yearbook! Our yearbooks are for sale online! To order, please visit: Our school ID is: 12435618

5th and 6th Grade Futsal Opportunity! Would you like to have the opportunity to play Futsal in the Lincoln Gym on Fridays? Please check out this flyer! This is only on days when school is in session.

Wacky Winterfest! PALS is now gathering sponsors for our Wacky Winterfest raffle. Wacky Winterfest is our largest school fundraiser and we need your help to make it happen. Our date for Wacky Winterfest will be Saturday, February 17th from 11 AM to 2 PM to accommodate other events in town on the same day. Is your family or business willing to sponsor a $100 (or more) raffle prize? Contact Liz Gerdes at to offer your donation. If you are interested in helping to plan the event, please email Watch for more information in the coming weeks about ways to get involved. Be sure to like our Facebook page (Lincoln PALS) for the most up to date information.

Weather-Related Announcements: The contact information we have in Power School is the same information that our weather-related announcements will pull from. Please ensure your Power School information is accurate, so you receive the necessary weather related alerts.

We are pleased to announce that we have an Online Directory! This is an optional opportunity for families to share contact information with other families. Our plan is to make this available digitally. If you have a need for a printed copy, please let us know. If you would like to participate, please provide information using this link and join code cflincoln:

If you are already part of our directory, please update your information including your child’s teacher and contact information.
