No Echoes this week due to parent / teacher conferences. Students should make arrangements to get home immediately after school. Echoes will resume next week.

Congratulations to Ethan Jacobsen for being selected on trumpet for the All State Band. Ethan competed for and won a spot amongst Iowa's top trumpet players in grades 9-12. He will perform at Hilton Coliseum at IA State University with all of Iowa's top musicians. This concert will be broadcasted over Thanksgiving break on Iowa Public Television.

Yearbook Staff: Please check your email for the voting form from Mrs. Cahill and complete ASAP if you have not already.

9th Grade Battle of the Books: If you still need a copy of the buddy read for November, please come see Mrs. Cahill ASAP as more copies have arrived.

Any student interested in learning the basics of weightlifting, please attend an informational meeting in the Media Center on November 1st @ 7:35 AM. Peet will have an opportunity to learn lifting fundamentals from former Peet Tiger and UNI Football alum Colin Klatt beginning on November 6th. Lifting will go for 6 weeks on Monday-Thursday mornings before school. More details will follow, so consider attending the informational meeting on November 1st.
