Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade track ladies on their performance at the Oelwein meet last night. Both 7th  and 8th-grade teams took home first place finishes and many ladies set personal records. Great work!

The April winners of the Peet Pride award are Cadence Knock nominated by Mr. Wolf, and the lunch room crew which consists of Emmy Wedgbury, Elle Culberson, Hunter Peterson, Patrick Lawson, Natalie DeGabriele, Regan Hays, Sabrina Leistikow & Alanna Fishel. Mr. Wolf nominated Cadence Knock because she continually puts in a good effort, helps students who are struggling, helps put up chairs at the end of the day, comes in early at times to work on skills, has a calm pleasant demeanor, and is genuinely a nice person to be around.

The Food Service and Custodial Staff would like to recognize Emmy Wedgbury, Elle Culberson, Hunter Peterson, Patrick Lawson, Natalie DeGabriele, Regan Hays, Sabrina Leistikow and Alanna Fishel for their help cleaning the lunchroom between lunch shifts. Their help has made the transition between lunch shifts go more quickly for everyone. Thank you for your dedication and for your support of the staff and students at Peet.

The 9th grade dance will be this Saturday May 6th from 7:30 - 10:00pm.  There will be music, dancing, prizes, and lots of fun! This year’s theme is “A Night in Paris”. As a reminder, the dance is for 9th grade Peet students only. If you did not receive an invitation, please see Mrs. Hinders in the office.

Students interested in detasseling for Knightpickers this summer, there will be 2 more application dates at Hyvee on 4th and Ansborough in Waterloo. Wednesday, May 3rd at 7:00pm and Saturday, May 6th at 1:00pm. Bring your application, 2 forms of ID, and a parent/guardian.

May bus passes are now on sale at the lunch window either before school or during lunch.  The cost for a one way pass is $22.00 and a two way pass is $44.00.  All students who ride the bus and do not have a bus sticker on his or her ID, need to purchase a pass by Friday, May 5th.

Today’s lunch will be: Pizza Sub, Chicken Sandwich, Corn, Broccoli with Ranch, & Grapes.
