Coding Comes to Life

The Hour of Code is held every December throughout the World. It is a push for students to complete at least one hour of coding.  The Cedar Falls Elementary Schools inserviced all elementary teachers on how to implement Code.org in order to teach computer science and coding to our elementary students. North Cedar was fortunate to have several community volunteers visit our school to share the importance of coding in their work places as well as assist students and teachers in completing the hour of code this December. Along with the volunteer presentations, students completed unplugged and online coding activities.
