Mrs. Klein's Bucket Fillers!

I was visited today by Mrs. Klein's Kindergarten class. To begin each year, I enjoy visiting each class and for our younger students, reading a book. This is a great opportunity to begin to get to know the students and help them learn about their Principal. To respond, this group each drew me a picture and made them into a book. They have filled my bucket!

Mileage+club+2 Lincoln Elementary

Mileage Club Volunteers Needed

We are looking for Parent volunteers for our Mileage club here at Lincoln.  This program is a walking/running program targeted at schools around America.  The program is enjoyable and motivates children to get moving.  This recess-hour program is simple to run.  Students walk around the track several times a week.  Mile markers are checked every time the child completes a lap.  When recess ends, students return their cards to their personal file (in the classroom).  For each five m [...]

You Are Invited To Popsicles On the Playground!

You are invited to Popsicles On The Playground! This event is intended to help our Kinder families begin to get to know each other, we will add that all are welcome! Farm To School Is A Win-Win!

Our Farm To School program is an excellent example of a win-win! This program provides servings of locally sourced fresh fruits and vegetables to our students. We focus on serving to each grade twice in the Fall and again in the Spring. This Fall will include a serving of tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers and kale.
