9.12 - PALS meeting in the Media Center at 7:00 PM (Popsicles On The Playground for Kinder parents prior to the meeting)

9.15 - Professional Development, no school for students

9.22 - Farm To School

9.28 - Literacy Night from 6:00-7:00 PM, more information will be coming!

Families - students cannot be in the building or on our playground before 8:30 AM. We do not have supervision available. Thank you for ensuring your children follow this request.

Farm To School Volunteers Are Needed! We are excited to begin our Farm To School program! This parent run program helps all students to be exposed to fresh and locally sourced foods. In order to make this happen, we need your help please! Could you consider signing up using this Sign Up genius please? We are looking forward to your help!

Speaking of Farm To School, Kinder, 3rd and 5th graders had a visit from the Farm to School Program during snack time today.  See the attached handout about what they learned and for follow-up activities with your student.

Road Closure - The City of Cedar Falls will be closing West 6th Street from Franklin Street east to the Post Office beginning on Thursday, September 7th for approximately 8-10 weeks. Pets At Lincoln - This is a request to our families who pick up their children as we have had many students and families tell us that their students are afraid of dogs. Could we ensure any dogs that come to the building are on a leash and stay outside of our fenced areas please? In addition, please do not bring pets inside the building. We appreciate your help with this!
