Wacky Winterfest is quickly approaching!

Wacky Winterfest NEWS

Thank you for selling over 4,000 tickets this week during our raffle fundraiser!  Our next goal is 5,000 tickets sold which earns a Gum Day incentive for the school!  Your help with raffle tickets sales is critical to the success of our largest fundraiser of the year.  Thank you!

Students who sell 30 tickets will be provided a Fast Pass/Free Play ticket to use the night of Wacky Winterfest in the Gameliner game trailer.  This allows them to use the special Sellers Only line and cut their wait time for this popular game!

Save time the night of Wacky Winterfest by pre-ordering your $5 game cards.  Game card pre-sale order forms have gone home and can be returned next week.  Game cards are required for all activities.

Birthday Blessings - Mrs. Becker’s 5th grade class has been awarded a grant of $250 from the Iowas Realtor’s Association’s “Project Jack” to be used “pay-it-forward” in Iowa. They will put this money toward “Birthday Blessings”, an organization started by Anna Grace Becker, a student in Mrs. Becker’s class. “Birthday Blessings” designs boxes filled with birthday presents and party supplies that are sent to children within the foster care system on their birthdays. Mrs. Becker’s class is accepting donations for “Birthday Blessings” throughout the month of February, as we celebrate kindness month! If you feel inspired to pay it forward consider donating any of the following at school throughout February, or come up with your own ideas! Every donation counts!

On Monday, January 30th, all Lincoln students had the chance to board a school bus and review bus expectations. Following this, we completed our required evacuation drills. We spent this time reviewing expectations to help students to be safe as we all ride the bus at some point during the year, many each day. Please review these expectations with your students and be sure to ask if you have questions.
