Birthday Blessings - Mrs. Becker’s 5th grade class has been awarded a grant of $250 from the Iowas Realtor’s Association’s “Project Jack” to be used “pay-it-forward” in Iowa. They will put this money toward “Birthday Blessings”, an organization started by Anna Grace Becker, a student in Mrs. Becker’s class. “Birthday Blessings” designs boxes filled with birthday presents and party supplies that are sent to children within the foster care system on their birthdays. Mrs. Becker’s class is accepting donations for “Birthday Blessings” throughout the month of February, as we celebrate kindness month! If you feel inspired to pay it forward consider donating any of the following at school throughout February, or come up with your own ideas! Every donation counts!

  • Paper Plates, Cups, and Napkins
  • Table Decorations
  • Balloons
  • Party Hats, and Blowers
  • Wrapped Candy and Snacks
  • Small Birthday Gifts

On Monday, January 30th, all Lincoln students had the chance to board a school bus and review bus expectations. Following this, we completed our required evacuation drills. We spent this time reviewing expectations to help students to be safe as we all ride the bus at some point during the year, many each day. Please review these expectations with your students and be sure to ask if you have questions.
