Thank you for a great first week of 2017!
Arrival Plans: A friendly reminder to make sure students are not dropped off prior to 8:30. We do not have staff available for supervision. Last, breakfast does not begin service until 8:30.
Dismissal Plans: This is a friendly reminder to ensure to have plans to pick up your students at dismissal. Setting consistent plans before the start of the school day and ensuring an adult is available at 3:45 or 1:50 is appreciated. Please also ensure we have updated contact information in the event we need to contact you for an emergency.
Both Arrival and Dismissal Plans are part of our District policy found in the student handbook. Please refer to the handbook or contact the school if you have any questions. We do not provide before or after school care through the school; if you should need care you may contact Y’s Kids program at 234-7589 and they will let you know of the availability and cost to provide care. Y’s Kids program holds before and after school care in our school.
Recess: Please make sure students come prepared to go outside for recess each day; hats, gloves, boots, snowpants, etc. If the Real Feel/Air Tempurature is above Zero according to AccuWeather.com we will send students outside as we like students to be outside as much as possible.
Mark your calendars: WACKY WINTERFEST is coming on February 18th! We will enjoy fun and the opportunity to raise money to support our school. PALS and Lincoln will soon announce the goal of our fundraising. Until then, are you able to help us make this the best Winterfest yet? Please read the attached letter with many ways you can help!
Wacky Winterfest T-Shirt Orders: Order forms should come home either today or Monday for our Wacky Winterfest t-shirts. Please note that order forms are due no later than Jan. 18th.
Yearbook Orders: To place an order online go to ybpay.lifetouch.com with Yearbook ID code: 12435617 Order forms went home 2 weeks ago.
Members of the school community can upload images for consideration in the yearbook! Please upload images at community.lifetouch.com using the access code FTHIZS.
Preschool registration for the 2017-2018 school year will be Friday, January 27, beginning at Noon. Registrations will only be accepted online and the link will be posted on this website. For more information on the preschool program, please go here.
