The next Know Your Constitution Program work day will be held on Tuesday during Tiger Time in Mr. Kuker's room. Participants know that your materials are due to Mr. Kuker in a little less than a month. See Mr. Kuker with any questions.
Congratulations Holmes Junior High on raising over $3,800 for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. 15,212 MEALS. On Thursday, we had $136.76 in pennies!! Honorable mentions are Mrs. Lauritsen's and Mrs. Blanco's classes. 3rd Place: Mrs. Tresemer $256.16, 2nd Place: Ms. Bisgrove $361.84 and 1st Place: Affolter/Greiner/Layton/Reiter with $638.28.
Poetry Club will meet Thursday during Tiger Time. This will be a place to write, recite, and compete. Prizes range from being professionally published to a $20,000 scholarship. If you're interested join us Thursday in Ms. Dieken's room, Room 1.

All girls in 9-12th grade who are interested in signing up for girls soccer for the Spring 2024 season, there will be an informational meeting at the high school in Coach Anderson's classroom (206) on Friday, November 3rd at 3:30PM. Girls Soccer practice officially starts March 11th. This meeting will talk about optional open gym and weight lifting opportunities. Anyone that has a pumpkin from carving or painting in Mrs. Adam's room (room 17) please stop and pick it up before you leave today. Any pumpkins left after school today will be thrown. Thank you.
