If you would like to take a sack lunch home on Thursday with the 11:15am dismissal, please fill out the form posted in schoology by the end of the day Wednesday, 10/25.
The Holmes Jr High Fall Chess Tournament will begin next Monday, October 30th in room 15 with Mrs. Hoekstra. Winner will receive a Jimmy Johns meal delivered to the school for their lunch. The form for signing up is located on the Schoology Student Group. Sign up will end promptly at 3 pm on Thursday, October 26th.
Any 9th grade boys interested in basketball this season should attend an informational meeting next Tuesday, 10/31 at 7:30 am in room 45
Students who have a class at the HS: On Thursday, only students that have consecutive class periods at the HS will be traveling. Please check Schoology for more information.
Student Council will meet today during Tiger Time in Ms. Fjerstad's classroom Room 9.
Today we had over 7,300 pennies in our collection! Tomorrow is the last day for Penny Wars. We have currently raised $1,177.13 for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Remember $1 = 4 meals. Amazing work Holmes! Five classes are over $80 in collection! In no particular order: Bisgrove, Blanco, Lauritsen, Steger and Tresemer.
