The Holmes Gender and Sexuality Awareness club is having our first meeting this Thursday during Tiger Time in Room #8. Holmes’ GSA is a safe space for LGBTQ students and allies to meet, talk, and advocate for making our school and our community more welcoming and inclusive for all of our students. No sign up is needed, simply check in with your Tiger Time Teacher before coming to the meeting.

HJH Volunteer Club is hosting a book drive event this week. If you have books you'd like to donate, please drop them off by the front office. In particular, we are looking for fantasy, fiction, graphic novels, children's stories, and nonfiction books. Donations will be mailed to help support Chontales Academy in Nicaragua.

9th graders interested in speech team for the upcoming season; please report to Mr. Kuker's room for tiger time on Wednesday, October 11th. Coach Engels will be there to discuss the upcoming season. Please attend to find out more.

10/10 PM and 10/11 AM: This week all Holmes students have the same Character Dare: Every day for a week, challenge yourself to meet 1 person you don't know. Find out their name and at least 1 thing about them. By the end of this Character Dare you will have met 5 new people.
