There will not be a pep bus for Thursday nights basketball game in Des Moines.

Interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 Dance Team? Tryouts start on March 13th! Practices will be March 13th & March 27th, with tryouts happening on March 30th. Go to cedarfallsdance.com/tryouts for more information about practice times and locations. Cedar Falls students 9th-12th grade for the 2019-2020 school year are eligible to try out.

Friday March 1st - Friday March 8th:  There are now sign up sheets for 7th & 8th boys track in the weight room, the PE locker room, and Mr. Rottinghaus's room. Track starts the first day back from spring break on Monday, March 25th.

Friday March 8th- Monday March 11th: There will be a meeting for 7th & 8th grade boys track on Tuesday March 12th in the competition gym at 7:40.

For 7th grade girls interested in track, your  meeting will be Thursday during TT in room 44.

The Thursday afternoon Roleplaying Club will be starting back up this Thursday, so get your pencils sharpened and come on in to the Makerspace, this Thursday.  New members are always welcome.

Any 9th graders interested in going out for Girls’ Soccer, there will be a parent/player mandatory meeting Thursday March 7th at 6:00pm in the high school cafeteria. Please let Coach Place know before the meeting if you or your parent is unable to make it. <placea@uni.ed>

Any 9th grade boys interested in playing soccer this season should attend an informational meeting tomorrow March 6th at 3:30pm in room 106 at the high school.  Please stop by the holmes office for your physical slip before the meeting

Today and Thursday, you may notice extra adults in your classrooms. Teachers will be participating in learning walks to continue to build our school-wide learning culture. There are a lot of awesome things happening at Holmes and teachers want to be able to learn from each other.
