Attention Seniors and students ~ Simpson College (IA) will have a representative here on Wednesday, October 18 at 2:15 pm. Did you know that Simpson is the only private college in Iowa with a comprehensive speech and debate program? If you are interested in visiting with them, please sign up through the link on Schoology!
Are you interested in art? Maybe engineering? Performing? Then join us in room 213 during the second shift of Power Hour TODAY to learn about Odyssey of the Mind! Put your skills to work to solve unique problems and foster an environment where no idea is off the table.
Do you like poetry? Come see what Poetry Out Loud is all about! Poetry Out Loud is a local/state/and national poetry recitation contest. Find a poem, memorize it, and get on stage and perform the heck out of it! Master your public speaking skills, build confidence, and surround yourself with a non judgemental peer group! Practices will be on Fridays during Power Hour, but come to the informational meeting on Thursday, October 12 during shift 2 of Power Hour in the library.
