Do you like making new friends, having fun helping others, and meeting leaders in our community? The Leo Club is brand new at CF and we want every student to join this international service club! Make a difference and stand out on college and job applications! Be a leader and join Leos for our first meeting on Thursday, September 7 with Mr. Nicholson during the 1st shift of Power Hour in Room 31.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln (NE) will have a college representative here at Cedar Falls High School on Tuesday, September 12 at 1:20pm. Are you interested in making a difference in our community with other students at CFHS? If so, the Volunteer Club is meeting on Friday, Sept. 8 during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in the library. Last year volunteer club members volunteered at the food bank, held bake sales, maintained recycling bins around the building, assisted with events at Hartman reserve and helped keep the school grounds clean. There are so many ways you can make a difference. Everyone is welcome!
SENIORS! Please plan to attend a meeting in the high school auditorium this week to get important information from the counselors about graduation, commencement, post-secondary planning and other essential events for this year! You can choose either meeting to attend on Thursday, September 7th during the 1st Shift Power Hour or Friday, September 8th during the 2nd Shift Power Hour. Please plan to prioritize your time to attend one of these meetings so you don't miss out!!!
The CFHS Black Student Union invites you to an Ice Cream Social in the Tiger's Den this Friday during the 2nd shift of Power Hour. Sophomores who attend will be excused from their Power Hour. Bring your friends and come find out what the BSU is all about!
