Students: There are 13 school days left to serve detentions to be eligible to attend the homecoming dance. Please see Mrs. Patterson or Mrs. Skarlis in the main office to see your detention balance. You can also stop by the main office to meet with your associate principal to set up a detention plan. You will not be able to buy a ticket unless your detentions are served. Power School fines and fees must also be paid to be eligible to attend. Also a reminder to pick up a guest form in the main office if you plan to bring a guest who is NOT a student at CFHS.
Are you interested in performing on stage? Auditions for the fall play are due tomorrow by 3:25 pm. Join the CFHS Drama group on Schoology for audition materials and more information. See Ms. Rathe or Ms. Magill in room 207 with any questions.
If you are interested in joining the Rocket Club this year please attend our informational meeting TODAY in Rm. 31 during 2nd Shift of Power Hour. No experience necessary! Please contact Mr. Nicholson for more information.
New this year, student activity passes are being sold online through Bound. Please check with your parent or guardian to see if an activity pass was purchased. Activity passes are not punched on your student ID. At each home event, you will present the QR code that was received after purchase for admission to the event. You can show the QR code from your Bound app, take a screen shot and save it to your phone’s Favorites photo album or print it off. Please check that you have access to your QR code now. Do not wait until right before the first game. See Mrs. Steffy in the main office if you have any questions.
If you purchased a 2022-2023 yearbook but did not pick it up during registration days in August, you can pick it up from Mrs. Steffy in the main office.
A reminder to the seniors: The Senior Hand Wall will happen tomorrow, Wednesday, outside by the track. Seniors, please be ready to have a life mantra QUOTE for your hand print. These hand prints will be hung in the Science Hall.
Follow the Tigers: Boys' JV Golf meet will begin at 3:30 pm at Pheasant Ridge; Sophomore and JV Volleyball will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity at 7:00 pm at CFHS; Girls' Varsity Swimming will begin at 6:00 pm at Cedar Rapids Washington.
