Football playoff t-shirts are available to order again from the CFHS website.The deadline is TODAY at 3:00 pm to order your shirt and then pay in the main office.
The Varsity Volleyball team is headed to the State tournament! The first game will be Tuesday, November 6 at Noon in Cedar Rapids. More information will be available later in the week regarding a pep bus.
Reminder: there will be a sophomore boys basketball sign up meeting in Coach Dyvig's room (259) right after school TODAY. The meeting should take about 15 minutes.
THE JOHN DEERE EARLY TALENT PROGRAM MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE AUDITORIUM ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH DURING POWER HOUR. PLEASE COME FIRST OR SECOND SHIFT. THE JOHN DEERE EARLY TALENT PROGRAM IS FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN CAREERS AT JOHN DEERE AND IT IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY. PLEASE SEE THE SCHOOLOGY POST FOR MORE INFORMATION.
The Swartdogs Robotics Team is hosting a robot driving competition in conjunction with the Food Drive on Wednesday. Your third period class can choose to participate by donating 20 cans of food or $20. To participate, your class will choose a team of three students to drive our competition robot from last year. The winning team will be determined by maximum number of Power Cubes in your stack at any time during your time slot. The winning class will be credited with all cans of food and money donated during this event.
1,2,3,4 We Declare a Penny War.... #BESSTCF teams each have a bucket in the Tiger Den. Dollars and Quarters will add to your teams total and Dimes, Nickels and Pennies will take away from your total (or others if you would like to add this to theirs). The #BESSTCF team with the highest total will win a pizza party.
Anyone interested in participating in this years spring production of Rodgers and Hammerstien's "Cinderella", there will be an informational meeting at 3:15pm in the choir room on Thursday November 1st. If you can not attend, please see Mr. Kranz for details.
Please join us next Monday, November 5th from 5-8 at the Pizza Ranch. 7% of all proceeds and tips will go to the Student Food Drive. We hope to see you there.
A representative from the US Coast Guard will be here today at 2:30pm to speak with interested students. A representative from the following schools will be here this Thursday to speak with interested students: Valparasio University at 1:00; Northwest Iowa Community College at 2:10. A representative from the US Army will be here Tuesday, Nov 6 at 9:40 am; Drake University will be here on Thursday, Nov 8 at 12:25 pm. Sign up on Schoology or in counseling.

The registration deadline for the December 8th ACT is this Friday, November 2nd! Sign up asap! Come to the counseling office during Power Hour if you need assistance!!
The CF FCA will meet today during 2nd shift of Power Hour in room 53. All students are welcome to attend.
REMINDERS: There will be a Girl's Soccer Meeting Thursday, November 1st at 3:30pm in the High School. The meeting will take place in Ms. Anderson's classroom, Rm 214. All 9-12 girls interested in high school soccer should attend this meeting. 9th graders are instructed to take the activity bus to the high school. One of the coaches will be waiting by the high school office for anyone who doesn't know where this classroom is. Please contact coach Alex Place if there are any questions.
