Football playoff t-shirts are available to order again beginning today! Order them on the CFHS website and pay in the main office. The deadline to order and pay is tomorrow, Tuesday, by 3:00pm! Any t-shirt that is not paid for, will NOT be ordered.

On Sunday, the Competition Cheer Team placed 5th at the Trition Challenge. They also won best choreography and outstanding performance awards. Congratulations to Black stunt team for 2nd place and the Red stunt team placing 3rd. Come support them this Saturday, November 3rd as both Sideline and the Competition team compete at state.

Sophomores: The school counselors are so excited to start meeting with you in small groups. You will get a pass to come at a certain time. Please check in with your teacher and go to the room specified on the pass. It will be a great time to get to know each other and start some planning for your future!!

THE JOHN DEERE EARLY TALENT PROGRAM MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE AUDITORIUM ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH DURING POWER HOUR. PLEASE COME FIRST OR SECOND SHIFT. THE JOHN DEERE EARLY TALENT PROGRAM IS FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN CAREERS AT JOHN DEERE AND IT IS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY. PLEASE SEE THE SCHOOLOGY POST FOR MORE INFORMATION.

The Swartdogs Robotics Team is hosting a robot driving competition in conjunction with the Food Drive on Wednesday. Your third period class can choose to participate by donating 20 cans of food or $20. To participate, your class will choose a team of three students to drive our competition robot from last year. The winning team will be determined by maximum number of Power Cubes in your stack at any time during your time slot. The winning class will be credited with all cans of food and money donated during this event.

Congratulations to the high school FRC Robotics Team on winning the Cow Town Throwdown in Lee's Summit, MO on Friday and Saturday. The Swartdogs were the 2nd ranked team after qualifying rounds and part of the winning alliance. The team also received the "Driven to Succeed" award at the event.

1,2,3,4 We Declare a Penny War.... #BESSTCF teams each have a bucket in the Tiger Den. Dollars and Quarters will add to your teams total and Dimes, Nickels and Pennies will take away from your total (or others if you would like to add this to theirs). The #BESSTCF team with the highest total will win a pizza party.

Listen up yellow team: We want to get our yellow team together and what better way to do so than coming together and eating cookies! Please, stop by today during Power Hour for a cookie in room 207. See you there!

Anyone interested in participating in this year's spring production of Rodgers and Hammerstien's "Cinderella", there will be an informational meeting at 3:15pm in the choir room on Thursday, November 1st. If you can not attend please see Mr. Kranz for details.

There will be a Sophomore boys' basketball sign up meeting in Coach Dyvig's room (259) right after school tomorrow, Tuesday, October 30th. The meeting should take about 15 minutes.

Follow the Tigers: Varsity Regional Volleyball game at 7:00 pm vs. Waterloo West at CFHS.

REMINDERS: Reading is something many of us take for granted. Help Rachel Osterhaus give the gift of reading to elementary children in our community! She has 20 backpacks to fill with new or gently used picture books. Stop by Ms. Griffin’s room, 201, to drop off donations until Friday, November 9th, or to get more information!

There will be a Girl's Soccer Meeting Thursday, November 1st at 3:30 pm in the High School. The meeting will take place in Ms. Anderson's classroom, Rm 214. All 9-12 girls interested in high school soccer should attend this meeting. 9th graders are instructed to take the activity bus to the high school. One of the coaches will be waiting by the high school office for anyone who doesn't know where this classroom is. Please contact coach Alex Place if there are any questions.
