Staff and students: As you've probably heard, one of our students, Jake Wilson, has been missing since Saturday night. Jake is from La Porte City and that community is wearing blue on Thursday to show support for Jake and his family. Jake's friends would like to ask students and staff to PLEASE wear blue tomorrow (Thursday) as well to show support for Jake to be found and to come back to school here at Cedar Falls High School.
Bake for Jake - There will be a bake sale for Jake Wilson this Friday morning in the Tiger's Den from 7:25-8:30am. If you want to donate baked goods please bring them to the Tiger's Den before 7:30 Friday morning. All proceeds will go to organizations such as the Red Cross and LaPorte City Police and Fire Departments to aide in the search for Jake Wilson.
Students are invited to a hear from a special motivational speaker this Thursday, April 12, at 11:00 am.John Register is an Olympic silver medalist and motivational speaker with a positive message about leadership, motivation and dealing with adversity. Students signing up for this presentation will be dismissed from class on Thursday at 10:55 am and report to the auditorium. The presentation will last approximately 30 minutes and be over around 11:30 am. Go to Schoology to find the form to sign-up.
Softball - There will be an important softball signup meeting on Monday, April 16 at 12:01 (A shift of Power Hour) in the auditorium for any girl interested in playing high school softball this summer.
A representative from the following schools will be here next week: Upper Iowa University - Monday, April 16 at 2:15; Capri - Thursday, April 19 at 1:00; Ellsworth; - Friday, April 20 at 1:15. Interested students should sign up in Counseling.

Reminders: Please join us for this years DO BETTER. BE BETTER. Color Run on Saturday, April 21st. You can earn 3 PE make-ups for participating. Pick up your sign up form today in the counseling office.
