CAPS Education Alumni (Fall Semester) - There will be a short meeting TODAY during B shift of Power Hour in the Auditorium. Bring your CAPS Edu file.
Girls interested in going out for golf this year: There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, Feb 14th during A shift in the health room. We will be discussing apparel, getting season information, the season's schedule, and other important information. If you cannot attend, please email Mrs. Youngkent BEFORE Feb. 14th.
Any sophomores or juniors interested in singing in choir for next year: Auditions will be held Today, Wednesday and Friday of this week. Sign-up is located outside of the choir room (Rm. 178). Any questions contact Mr. Kranz or a current choir member.
Thinking about trying out for the CFHS Dance team? Join us for open gym practices on 2/12, 2/19, and 2/26 from 4:30 to 6:30 at Lincoln Elementary. During these practices you'll have an opportunity learn the skills required for tryouts. Visit cedarfallsdance.com for more information.
Tomorrow's Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test (ASVAB) has been moved to Friday. Please see Mrs. Langan's Schoology to sign up if you haven't yet.
Sophomore and Juniors: During the week of February 12th, the school counselors will be coming to the Juniors' English classes and the Sophomores' Social Studies classes to review the registration options and procedures for next year Please be prepared!! It is an exciting time but you must follow directions!! Core departments (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) will be entered in your classes. Check out the links on the Schoology post and be familiar with your options! We have so many great classes. Please choose wisely. CHOOSE CLASSES TO HELP YOU EXPLORE CAREER OPTIONS! Students and Staff: Today we will once again allow students to move more freely during power hour. The purpose of our recent reset was to minimize the "chaos" in the hallways. During the last two weeks, the noise in the hallways, overall building cleanliness, and the ability to move freely through unobstructed hallways has improved significantly. Please accept the responsibility to keep and maintain a positive environment seriously. We request that you do your part to keep power hour a privilege-based system. Your ability to have freedom and make individual decisions is dependent upon your ability to make positive decisions. Due to semester one grades, some of you already have and will continue to have some restrictions in place. Others may earn restrictions through inappropriate behaviors. Take responsibility for your actions, demonstrate initiative, and do what's right. Let's all make CFHS a place we can be proud of.
