SENIORS: John Holland from ICAN will be here TODAY to help you complete your FAFSA! Please sign up on Schoology or check in with your school counselor ASAP to get scheduled.
All Students: Please check your schedules for 2nd semester on Power School! Changes may have been made since the beginning of the year!
Volleyball players: If you have not turned in your volleyball uniform from this past season, please do that ASAP in the main office.
The Art Club will meet today during B shift of Power Hour in the Art room. We have a new project to complete before the end of January.
Seniors: The Freedom Rock essay scholarship from the American Legion is available for you. The American Legion provides $1000 to the winner and two $500 awards. Cedar Falls students have won all three of these awards that last two years. Keep that tradition going and earn money for college. See Mr. Van Cleve or ask a Social Studies teacher for more information on this opportunity.
Students attending UNI next year need to check out the link to the scholarship application on Schoology. The deadline to complete is January 15th!!
2nd Semester Release Information: All Students whose parents have not yet submitted the Release Permission form online, will need to come in to the Counselor's Office to see Ms. Javellana to get a paper copy for parents to sign. Also, all students who wish to have a Release from Study Hall for 2nd semester must also complete the following expectations: Detentions: at or below 2 detentions; Fines / Fees at or below $20; and No failing semester grades.
Follow the Tigers: TONIGHT: Girls' JV and Varsity Basketball games beginning at 6:00 pm at CFHS; Boys' Sophomore and Varsity Basketball games beginning at 6:00 pm at Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School; Boys' JV and Varsity Swim meet begins at 6:00 pm at Holmes Jr. High.
