Seniors, how about a last minute scholarship opportunity? Do you see Dr. Hardinger at i smile Orthodontics? She has decided to offer two $500 scholarship awards to students willing to submit an essay and currently or have completed full treatment at i smile orthodotics. See the scholarship on Mr. Wood’s Schoology post, deadline is June 1st.
Students taking the AP Great Books Exam need to be at the church south of the high school by 7:45amtomorrow morning.
Summer Drivers Education list is now posted outside of the attendance office. If you registered for the summer session please check the list to verify your name and session time.
Juniors and Sophomores: Registration for Hawkeye Concurrent Classes will be held tomorrow, May 3rd. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WITH YOU TO REGISTER. Please see your email or Schoology class page for information. YOU MUST BE PREPARED.

PROM
All Prom eligible Junior and Senior students are invited to the van Gogh inspired Starry Night Prom onSaturday, May 13th, 2017 at the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo (by Cattle Congress)!! The dance will be from 8pm-midnight. Students attending the dance must arrive by 10pm and must bring their School ID or Driver’s License and prom ticket for admittance into the dance. Once a student leaves the dance, they may not return. If you need your School ID plan ahead to purchase that in the main office. Lattin prom picture forms are now available in the Main Office and on the CFHS website.
Guest Forms are required for any guest who is not a current Junior or Senior CFHS student (this includes 10th graders and 9th graders at Holmes and Peet). Guest forms are available in the main office and also on our high school website. A copy of the guest’s photo id is required for every guest that does not attend a Cedar Falls School at the time the form is turned in. Forms are due no later than Wednesday, May 10th at 3:30pm.
Prom tickets must be ordered by filling out the online form on the main high school webpage. Once you have ordered your ticket, you may make payment in the main office. Tickets are $15.00 each and will be sold through3:00pm on Friday, May, 12th. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
Prom Eligible: A student is prom eligible when they have 2 or less detentions and have no fines/fees on their Power School account. The deadline for serving detention for Prom is 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 10th.
SENIORS:
To honor graduating classes, a SENIOR BREAKFAST will be held on Friday, May 26 at 7:30 a.m. This is before your commencement practice on your final day at Cedar Falls High School. PLEASE register for a ticket on the Class of 2017 Schoology page OR purchase a ticket from the front office. If you register online, your ticket will be sponsored by Cedar Falls Schools Foundation, a alumni organization in support of our schools. After registration, a confirmation email will be sent. Use this email for your ticket. The morning's breakfast does include fellowship with graduating class and a highlight video from the year. Hope to see you there! Registration ENDS May 22nd.

Juniors: The deadline for the ACT registration for JUNE 10th is this Friday! Please see your counselor if you need help!! Go to actstudent.org to register.
