There will be a sign-up for all boys varsity basketball players in room 259 at the beginning of Power Hour Tuesday October 11th. See Coach Dyvig if you cannot attend. 

The after school strength and conditioning program has been moved to 4 P.M. today due to the Faculty meeting. We will begin warm up promptly at 4 P.M. Please see Coach Wood or Coach Homewood with questions. 

The PSAT for sophomores and juniors is next Wednesday, October 19th. This test will help prepare you for college entrance exams and can potentially qualify juniors for the national merit scholarship competition. The deadline to sign up is this Friday and we have less than 70 spots left. See your Class of 2018 or 2019 page on Schoology for sign up. Questions can be directed to Mr. Wood.

Anyone interested in wrestling or managing wrestling, there will be a short informational meetingWednesday at the beginning of A shift of Power Hour in the wrestling room. If you are unable to attend, please contact Coach Wiechmann.

FOOD DRIVE EQUALS BAKE SALE every Friday for the rest of October--FIRST ONE IS THIS FRIDAY~~ Student Senate, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Leadership will be hosting a Bake Sale -- All items will be a dollar donation! Would love to see you in the Tiger's Den Before School through Power Hour!

There are 8 slots open for the October 31st Driver Education session.  Registration sheets are in the main office. Registration will be on a first come first serve basis. Any questions contact Mr. Goulden at Holmes Junior High.

Materials are now available for any students interested in the 2016-2017 Know Your Constitution Contest sponsored by the Iowa Bar Association. The contest includes a 50 question open-book multiple-choice quiz and a short essay. Finalists in the contest are entered into a drawing for a free one-week trip to Washington DC. See Ms. Lake for materials or if you have questions! Completed quizzes will be due before Thanksgiving break!
