Student Life Peet Junior HighToday is Tuesday, September 25th, a B day.
Students who go to the gym or a classroom in the morning before school must stay there until the 7:50 bell. Do not return to the cafeteria.
All Cross Country runners - on Thursday you will be dismissed at 2:05 for your meet and taken directly to Bontrager Park. The bus will return 7th and 8th grade runners back to Holmes at about 5:30. 9th grader runners will be dropped back off to the High School at about 6:45pm. Please make sure to have your ride arrangements for these drop of times and locations.
Peet students, it is student council election week! You have probably seen posters around the school for your representatives running for the offices of President, Vice President and Speaker of the House. The election video and voting will take place this Thursday during 4th hour. Please respect all posters made by the candidates around the school and help each representative have a great campaign and election week!
School pictures were distributed yesterday, if you did not get your picture packet, stop by the office. Picture re-takes will be Tuesday, October 9 starting at 7:30am in the library. If you were not here for school pictures, your name has already been added to this list. If you do not like the pictures you received yesterday, the sign-ups for re-takes are in the front office. You must return your original packets on the day of re-takes to LifeTouch in order to get a new packet with your re-take picture. See the office with questions.
Any 9th grade student interested in going out for bowling and missed the meeting this morning, sign-up for bowling is in the office.
It's Homecoming Week! A reminder, the dress up days for the rest of the week are:
- Wedensday: What do you Meme? Meme Day
- Thursday: NBA 2K18 Jersey Day
- Friday: Grade Level Colors Day (9th=Black, 8th=Red, 7th=White)
Students who have classes at the HS, there will be an adjusted schedule today, Tuesday, September 25th for the high school assembly. The adjusted bus times will be posted on Schoology on your grade level pages. It is your responsibility to check these times, get to the bus on time, and to let your teachers know if you will be leaving classes early or getting to your classes late.
Friday, September 28th, we will only be sending students to the HS for 1st period. All students will come back to Peet after 1st period, and we will not send any students after 1st period.
Today’s lunch will be: Pizza Hut Pepperoni Pizza, Popcorn Chicken with a dinner roll or BLT Pasta Salad, Broccoli, Veggie Bar and Blueberries
