PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Monday, March 5th a B Day.

There will be no ECHOES after school today due to a meeting after school. All students must make arrangements to get home immediately after school. ECHOES will resume tomorrow.

The Tiger Way Award is given to students who go out of their way to show good character, do the right thing, and show the Tiger Way. This month’s winners are Emma Yarrow, nominated by Mr. Wolf & The Black History Month Planning Committee nominated by Mrs. Kenser.

Emma Yarrow consistently demonstrates doing things right by doing things that are not required. She is kind and soft spoken to everyone. Cleaning counters, sinks and brushes as well as being a great role model for consistently putting great effort into everything and not doing just what is easy at a high level. A silent leader by example is what she is. If students need a good example of what to do and how to do it, look no further than Emma for an example of how to live the Tiger Way.

The Black History Month Committee spent many hours planning and preparing for the month’s activities. Not only were they responsible for the assembly planning, but daily announcements, posters and Character and Leadership presentations through the months of January and February. The committee members include:

Ahmad Madlock

Garrett King

Aniyah Henderson

Sophia Woods

Keith Nelson

Travis Redd

Dinari Turner
