Student Life Peet Junior High

PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Wednesday, September 20th a B Day.

Students, school pictures will be handed out during all three lunch shifts today.  Please pick them up outside of the cafeteria and make sure to take them home. Picture re-takes will be Wednesday, October 11.  If you need to have your school picture still taken, please sign-up in the front office. When you get your school pictures back and decide you would like to have your pictures retaken, you will need to hold onto your picture packet and bring them with you at re-takes.  You will need to sign-up in the front office for re-takes. See the office with questions.

The library is still looking for Samsung 3 chromebooks #503813 and 503835. Please turn the missing chromebook into the library for a reward.

A reminder to all students that loaner chromebooks need to be returned to the media center at the end of each day. Starting today detention will be given to students that fail to return their loaner chromebooks to the library.  If you are in after school activities or ride a bus home, plan to turn your chromebook in before 3. This does not include students that have chromebooks in for repair.

Reminder that we are having a contest at Peet between the grade levels and staff to see who can raise the most money. This week we will be selling paw prints to purchase pet supplies. These supplies will be taken to the Salvation Army to distribute to the affected people and pets.  We will sell paw prints before school, during lunch, and after school in the front lobby.  The cost of a white paw print will be $1.00 and the cost of a red paw print will be $5.00.  The paw prints will be hung on the front display case, so you can see how much each group has raised.  The winning group will get to do something fun at an assembly in November!  Thank you so much for all of your help and for thinking of others!

Peet students: Student council applications are finally in!  Stop by the counseling office and pick up a short application if you would like to be considered for this year’s Student Council crew!  Seventh, eighth, and ninth graders can all apply!  The application form is due in the counseling office no later than this Thursday, Sept. 21st.  If you are interested in taking an active part in your school, interested in leadership development and in doing fun activities in the community as a Peet representative…this is your chance!

Today’s lunch will be: Mr. Rib Sandwich, Walking Taco, Peas, Mixed Greens Salad, and Grapes.
