Student Life Peet Junior High

Today is Thursday, February 16th an A Day.

February is African American History Month, celebrated every year. Take some time to check out the Media Center and explore the books that are displayed celebrating African American History. There are fiction books written by African American Authors, as well as personal stories of influential African Americans in history. A #1 suggested read is The March Trilogy, written by John Lewis. Stop by and check out these reading opportunities!

9th grade students:  Please check out your schoology page today for a link to vote for your 9th grade formal theme!  You can choose from 3 options and the winning theme will be announced tomorrow during morning announcements!

Any 9th grader that is interested in going out for baseball this year, there will be an informational meeting today at 3:20 in the Peet Cafeteria. If you are unable to attend the meeting tonight and are planning to go out for baseball, see Mr. Williams in Rm. 46 Friday for the information you missed.

Students: Nominate your teachers for the 2017 Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching! The nomination forms and drop box are in the front office, and all nominations will be due on Monday, February 20th.
