Congratulations to the Peet students who participated in the North East Iowa String Teachers Association Honors Orchestra in Dubuque on Saturday.  The concert was AMAZING!  Kudos to Riley Gesell, David Hitchman, Rebecca McKenzie, and special recognition to Klaertje Hesselink who qualified for the State Honors Orchestra in February.  You ALL made Peet proud this weekend.  Great job!

Congratulations to the 9th Grade Boys Basketball team on their 39 to 31 and 5th quarter 13 to 2 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson! Great job!

A reminder to all 7th grade girls interested in the Introduce a Girl to Engineering event, please sign up in the front office by February 6th.

The CFHS Soccer Team will have open gym on the following dates in January at 7:30pm in the HS Gym: Jan 16 (Men’s), Jan 17 (Women’s), Jan 23 (Men’s), Jan 26 (Women’s), & Jan 31 (Women’s).

A reminder to all students that the end of 1st Semester is this Thursday. To help students that are struggling with grades, we will be yellow lining any students with a D or F grade for the semester. Yellow lining restricts students from checking out to the gym, cafeteria, band, media center, or enrichments. Students will be yellow lined until 3 week grades are submitted. The intent is not to punish you, but to make sure you are getting assistance. Please work hard this week to improve your grades if they are low, and see Mr. Boevers if you have any questions.
