Lincoln 4th Grade Use Coding

Mr. Rhoads' class is using their knowledge of coding and applying it to real-world situations. The goal is to create a race track and enter code into their robotic car in this exciting, hands-on STEM activity. Students are learning how to input the proper code to help their car and their group achieve the goal of  racing past the finish line.

Our Collaboration With UNI's Professional Development School

We are very lucky to collaborate with UNI students frequently, especially students who participate in the Professional Development School class led by Dr. Sarah Montgomery. This Fall, our second grade students and staff will have the opportunity to work on the Next Generation Science Standards through work with ramps and pathways, plant and animal life cycles and matter.
