Student Life Holmes Junior HighThere will be a mandatory variety show meeting after school tomorrow (Thursday, January 4) in the choir room. All performers must attend! The meeting starts at 3:10 and will not last more than 20 minutes. See a variety show director if you have any questions.

• Shakespeare's plays Much Ado About Nothing and The Taming of the Shrew are a cutting battle of words between the male and female main characters. Audiences roar with laughter over their witty “battle of the sexes.” There will be auditions for two, 3-minute excerpts of these plays on Tuesday, January 9 after school in Mrs. Talbot's room, and the acts will be performed in the Variety Show. Come prepared to BE SNARKY and DETERMINED TO HAVE THE LAST WORD!
