Band Students: Today is Day Five for band lessons
Congratulations to the 8th Grade Volleyball team as they competed in their Metro Volleyball tournament this weekend and took 1st place. Winning the Metro Tournament was the perfect finish for their undefeated season. Way to go girls! & a special thank you for all of the students who came out to show your support!
Any 9th grader interested in going out for the bowling team please attend a pre-season informational meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the library. Please contact Coach Baker at the high school if you cannot attend.
There will be a meeting for any 7th or 8th grader who is interested in wrestling Thursday October 12th at 7:45 in the New Gym. There is a sign up sheet in the office. Coach Peters is also looking for a couple student managers for the wrestling team. Email or see coach Peters for questions.
Fall sports are wrapping up, and students interested in Math Club are encouraged to come check it out on Tuesdays after school beginning as soon as your fall sport is over. No need to sign up; just show up in Mrs. Hudson's room (#42) on the first Tuesday after your sport ends. Math Club is open to students in all grades, 7/8/9. Treats will be provided, and we'll have fun with problem solving. Join us!
Any 8th grade girl interested in going out for basketball this year, there is a sign up sheet in the office. There will also be a players meeting on Friday oct 13th at 7:40 am in the new gym. See coach moeller if you can not attend.
