Student Life Holmes Junior HighThere's still time to sign up for 7th grade girls basketball. All interested girls, please sign up in the office. Practice will begin right after school today in the Old Gym. Please see Coach Kuker or Coach Bauer with questions.
Any 9th grade boys interested in going out for soccer this spring, there will be an informational meeting Tuesday October 18th at 3:30pm in the high school cafeteria. It is for players only and is not mandatory.
Coach Welter will be running a strength training workout today after school for interested 7th, 8th and 9th grade boys and girls. Meet outside the pool entrance at 3:15. Please have a ride here to pick you up at 4:15. Workouts will be held Monday through Thursday, lasting until next Spring. Contact Coach Welter if you have questions.
Congratulations to all of the 7th and 8th grade cross country runners. It has been an exciting season! Their coaches are so proud to see all of their hard work pay off. The 7th grade girls finished the season 8th overall at the State Meet. Every single runner had their fastest time of the season! The 8th grade girls team also ran their fastest times. A year ago they finished 5th, but this year finished 2nd overall! Way to go Tigers!
