Meet the Teacher Night on August 22

Meet the Teacher (Backpack) Night will be held at Cedar Heights on Tuesday, August 22 from 4:30-6:00 p.m.  This is the opportunity for students to bring their supplies to school before the first day and meet their teacher.  Our PTU (Parents and Teachers United)  will be having an ice cream social and school supply drive that night.

Throughout the school year, situations arise causing extra school supplies to be needed in our kid's classrooms. When this happens, teachers wind up using their own funds to purchase these items. To help cut down on some of those expenses, the Cedar Heights PTU would like to help!

On Backpack night, the PTU will be hosting an ice cream social! During this time, you can come grab a treat in the cafeteria and drop off any supplies you'd be willing to donate. New or lightly used items are accepted. There will be some volunteers managing both areas. The donated items will be used throughout the year to help support our students and staff. You do NOT have to donate to receive a free ice cream. Check out this events page for updates and pictures. A list will soon be posted.
